Preview: Critérium du Dauphiné 2019 – Stage 5

Welcome the sprinters for the second and very last time at this year’s Critérium du Dauphiné.

The course seems to be easy but inside the final 10-15 km there are some dangerously narrow roads and tight corners. Starting a solo attack and managing to get home isn’t impossible, but the stage is most likely for the sprinters.

First of all Sam Bennett (BORA-hansgrohe) is ment to be the man of the day. He is definitely the best sprinter in this peloton, but Sonny Colbrelli (Bahrain-Merida), Edward Theuns (Trek-Segafredo) or Alvaro Hodeg (Deceuninck -Quick Step) might think it different.

Comments are closed, but trackbacks and pingbacks are open.
