A long day in the saddle.
The stage is 229 km long, and it’s probably not a day fot a GC-battle mostly because of the descent in the final 7,5 km, which is hard to control. But you never know… expecially in these days, when cyclingraces keep surprising us again and again…
A total of 8 climbs are on program today, category 4, 3 and 2 mixed. The most difficult is the last one. 8,1 km long with an average slope of 6%.
Julian Alaphilippe (Deceuninck – Quick Step) and Michał Kwiatkowski (Ineos) could be the main protagonists as well. But don’t forget Alberto Bettiol and Michael Woods (Team EF), Magnus Cort (Astana), Bjorg Lambrecht (Lotto-Soudal) or Oliver Naesen (AG2R).
)I’m goint to live tweet during the second half of the stage, join me!
