Tour de Suisse 2019 -Stage 4 Preview

Probably a late solo attack, like at the 2nd stage.

The route is kind a similar to the one last Sunday. It contains two categorised climb, the Passwang (cat 2,  3,5 km à 8,6%), and the Eichenberg (cat3, 3,0 km à 7,4%),  meanwhile the peloton will cross the finish line twice in Arlesheim.

The last climb is at 18,9 km to go, so the sprinters without climbing talent can recover till the finale, but still the riders, who can easier survive when the road rises have more chance to win the stage.

Inside the finale 2 km there are several corners, they make building up a sprint train harder.

Peter Sagan (BORA-hasgrohe) is definitely back. After his 2nd place at the stage 2 he gained a victory yesterday, and he also leads the general classification.

If Elia Viviani (Deceuninck-Quick Step) survives the climb, can be dangerous for Sagan, and I think also John Degenkolb (Trek-Segafredo) has the form to play an important role in the battle for the stage victory.

Michael Matthews (Sunweb), Greg van Avermaet (CCC), Matteo Trentin (Mitchelton-SCOTT),  Kasper Asgree (Deceuninck-Quikc Step) ad Omar Fraile (Astana) can be the man of the day either.
