Alto de Javalambre (11km and 7,8%) is the very first time in the program of the Vuelta a Espana. Today is the first hilltop finish of the race, and taking a look a the current GC standings it isn’t hard to say, that there will be a fight for the red jersey.
Miguel Angel Lopez (Astana), Nairo Quitana (Movistar), Primoz Roglic (Jumbi-Visma) and Rigoberto Uran (TEAM EF) are the main favourites of this stage, but it will be worth to watch Fabio Aru and Tadej Pogacar (both UAE Emirates), Alejandro Valverde (Movistar), Pierre Latour (AG2R) or Esteban Chaves (Mitchelton-Scott) too.
